In the News
A week before the tents open, the supply of Frieze copy is lopsided. The fair’s own magazine has published almost daily since late September. The trade press has been quiet: no Artnet News or Artsy piece on Frieze London dated after September 3 surfaced for this guide, and the Frieze newsroom has issued no London release since August. That changes on Monday, October 12, when the reporters arrive.
The three lists below refresh from the Biennale news feed when a browser can reach it, and otherwise show the editors’ picks as of October 6, 2026. The first follows Frieze, the second follows London, and the third follows Frieze Masters, the salerooms and the satellite fairs. Headlines appear exactly as published.

A caution on timing. Sales figures published during a fair are reported by the galleries that made them, and nobody audits them. Read the first-day totals as a mood, and wait for the auction houses’ results for anything firmer. Biennale is free to read.
Reading list
The Trade Press, Curated
Some twenty outlets cover the week closely enough to matter, and they do different jobs. Some file news by the hour. Some count what sold. A few say whether any of it was good. The table sorts them by use and links the page each keeps for Frieze or for London. Where only a 2025 page was found, the table says so; no 2026 hub was found for The Art Newspaper, Artnet News or ARTnews.

Six films, and every one is from 2025. The official 2026 films had not been found on YouTube as of October 6: Frieze has published them on its own site, where no YouTube address was visible, so they are linked below and not embedded. Five of the six are Frieze’s own, two of them sponsors’ partner films. The sixth is an independent walk through last year’s Frieze Sculpture with its curator. Nothing loads from YouTube until a film is played.
The last film is the useful one this year. Fatoş Üstek curates Frieze Sculpture again in 2026, for the fourth consecutive year, and the walk shows how she uses the English Gardens. The 2026 works are free to see until November 1; the list is on the artists and works page.

These sign-up pages are the publishers’ own: Frieze, The Art Newspaper, Artlyst, The Baer Faxt, Minor Attractions, PAD (a form, linked as PAD’s site shows it), the National Gallery, the Serpentine and the Whitechapel Gallery. No sign-up address was found for Artnet News, ARTnews, Artsy, Apollo or ArtReview.
Sources. Headlines, dates and links on this page were compiled on October 5 and 6, 2026. A headline marked “date not seen” comes from a search result whose article page could not be opened; ARTnews, Artforum and FAD Magazine refused automated reading, so their items appear by headline only. Video titles are the titles of the pages that carry each film (frieze.com, Dastan Gallery); the titles on YouTube may differ slightly, and the channel name was not seen for the five Frieze films. Social accounts and press pages were read from each organization’s own site: Frieze, 1-54, PAD, Minor Attractions, The Royal Parks, Serpentine, Southbank Centre, Whitechapel Gallery and Phillips. RSS addresses are from FeedSpot. Biennale is an independent publication and is not affiliated with Frieze, with any fair or with any auction house named here. Times and prices change. Confirm them with the organizer. Corrections: contact@biennale.nyc.

Who to Follow
Every account below was read from the organization’s own website, with one exception that is marked. A missing platform was not shown on the page read; the account may still exist. Personal accounts are left out: none was verified, and a wrong handle is worse than none.
The Fairs
Two fairs publish an Instagram handle without a link on the pages read, so the handles are printed here as text: PAD is @padesignart on Instagram and Minor Attractions is @minor.attractions. Paraíso’s Instagram handle, @paraiso_fair, comes from the Art in Latin America newsletter and not from the fair’s own site. Single source
Not confirmed: an official Frieze account on YouTube, X or TikTok, and any separate account for Frieze Masters. No accounts were recorded for London Invitational, Fair Play, Focus Art Fair or the Affordable Art Fair.
Museums and the Park
The Salerooms
No account addresses for Christie’s or Sotheby’s were visible on the pages read, and no separate Hayward Gallery account was found. For the park’s own notices, The Royal Parks account is the one to watch, and the host city page explains whose lawn it is.
